The term ‘Beach Bourn’ or ‘us’ or ‘we’ refers to the owner of this website, Rachel Murray, whose registered office is Beach Bourn, The White House, Clifton Marine Parade, Gravesend, Kent, DA11 0DY. The term ‘you’ refers to the user or viewer of this website.

PART 1 – INFORMATION ON THE WEBSITE AND GOODS
1a. WEBSITE ACCURACY
We take every precaution to ensure the information, images, stock availability and prices given on our website are correct, however mistakes do occasionally happen. When a mistake occurs we will in all instances correct this as soon as possible so our website is accurate.
In the event of an error appearing on our site, should you have placed an order which is affected by this we will contact you and explain the error prior to the goods being sent out. In these instances we reserve the right to cancel your order should you not wish to accept the correction, whilst you also will be given the opportunity, should you not be satisfied to cancel your order free of charge.
1b. PRODUCT COLOURS AND SCREEN RESOLUTION
When shopping online, unlike a shop you are not able to handle the goods prior to purchase to see the true colours. We will always try and load images which show the truest colours, and in our product information, list all the main points of the items to give you the best understanding possible of the items main features before you by, however, there are many factors outside of our control which influence this such as your screen resolution and studio lighting which may result in a slight variation to the colour seen on screen, this is not unique to Beach Bourn but to all products purchased online. If you are unsure give us a call and we are happy to discuss this with you.
1c. PRODUCT SIZING
Where the designers have providing product sizes we will always show these online to help you decide on the size for you. We can advise from experience that swimwear sizing comes up small and should you be unsure of your size we recommend going up a size!
PART 2 – PRICING
All prices shown on our website are in Sterling (GBP) and inclusive of 20% VAT but exclusive of delivery charges. Delivery charges will be added on when you go through the checkout, however you can view the full range of delivery options and charges by either clicking on the Delivery icon on the products page or clicking on the link to the Delivery Information page.
We will endeavour to ensure that the prices shown on the website are correct, however in the unlikely event of an error we contact you as soon as possible and give you the option of accepting the correct price or cancelling the order. If we cannot contact you we will cancel the order, refund any monies paid and advise you via email.
When you enter your cards details into our system payment will be taken immediately on clicking confirm and you will be sent a confirmation email.
By entering your card details on our site you are confirming the card belongs to you.
2a. TAXES, CUSTOMS AND DUTIES
All our prices shown include VAT (20%), for our customers ordering outside the EU, when you reach the check-out and select your delivery address and postage, the VAT cost will be removed from your order so your card will be debited the correct amount. Please be aware that any local duties or taxes which are applicable to your country of origin are your responsibility and as such we cannot be held responsible for any costs which may occur. When shipping abroad, we will include in your order any documents which may be required for the shipping process.
2b. PAYMENT OPTIONS
Our website accepts the following forms of payment: Visa, Visa Debit, MasterCard, Switch, Solo, Maestro, Amex and PayPal.
2c. PAYMENT PROCESSING
Our payment provider is RBS Worldpay which offers fast, simple and secure payments. When you make use your card to make a payment on our site you are redirected to the RBS Worldpay server where you enter your card details in a completely secure environment, once you payment has completed you are redirected back to us for final order confirmation. This means your card details are never entered on our server and we never see your card details (and thus they are not stored by us).
The exception to this rule is if you call to make a payment over the phone, where you supply us with your card details. We never store your card details and after your payment has completed we destroy these details immediately.
PART 3 – BUYING GOODS
You order constitutes an offer to us to purchase goods from us and is not a binding contract. There are some instances where due to unforeseen circumstances or error we may not be able to fulfil your order, in these cases we will contact you and explain the circumstances and where possible give you the option of alternatives, but if these are not available, or acceptable to you, we will cancel your order.
Your offer to purchase goods from us will not be accepted until the goods have been sent out to you in the post. Until that time the goods are the Property of Beach Bourn and only transfer to you once they have been signed for by the recipient on delivery, at which time the goods transfer ownership.
We reserve the right to refuse any order.
PART 4 – RETURNING GOODS
4a. UK RETURNS
Complete the enclosed returns form, making sure to fill in your order number, name, address and a list of the items you are returning.
Wrap the items securely for posting, not forgetting to enclose your returns slip and stick the pre-paid returns postage label to the front of your package.
Take your parcel to the Post Office and hand this over at the counter and they will provide you with a proof of posting receipt. It is important you keep this receipt until your goods have been refunded as should your parcel become lost in the post we are unable to refund your money without this receipt.
Due to Health and Safety regulations goods must be returned in their original condition, i.e. clean of stains and smells, have not been laundered and have all there hygiene stickers and labels still attached. Goods not returned in this condition will be returned to you and not be refunded.
Once goods have been accepted by us we will aim to refund the same day but within a maximum of 10 working days.
The cost of outbound postage is not included in the refund.
4b. FAULTY ITEMS
To avoid the disappointment of receiving faulty goods, we thoroughly check all our swimwear prior to sending it to you to ensure there are no defects and the goods you are to receive are of the highest quality. If however you receive goods containing a fault please contact us within 14 days and we will arrange a replacement and advise you on your returns.
4c. EUROPEAN AND INTERNATIONAL REFUNDS
When shopping outside of the UK, we are happy to accept refunds and exchanges as we do within the UK as per the policy set out above with the exception of free postage. Unfortunately outside the UK we cannot offer free postage on refunds and any costs incurred returning the goods, i.e. outbound and inbound postage, taxes and customs charges are the responsibility of the customer.
We also recommend when returning goods from abroad you use a secure courier and insure the value of your returns as we cannot offer any refund in the highly unlikely event that the goods become lost in the post. In this instance the customer would be responsible for obtaining a refund on the value through the courier.
PART 5 – LOYALTY POINTS
To reward our customers we offer a Loyalty Point’s scheme where 5% of the value of goods of every order is stored in your account as Loyalty Points. You can collect these points and use them against the full purchase price of any item on our website.
One Loyalty Point is equal to 1p (GBP), if you spend £100.00 on goods you will receive 500 Loyalty Points which is equivalent to £5.00.
Loyalty Points can be used as either part payment or full payment for a purchase.
Loyalty Points cannot at any time be exchanged for their cash equivalent.
Loyalty Points do not expire so you can collect year after year.
If you returns goods which have been paid for either in full or part with Loyalty Points, the value of Loyalty Points used will be credited back to your account as points, and any portion paid in cash will be refunded as cash. No cash value will be given for points.
We will on occasion offer promotional points events where you can receive extra points on a purchase. We strongly advise you subscribe to our mailing list as we will email the details of these events out to you in advance, if you do not receive our emails we are unable to notify you.
We reserve the right to stop the Loyalty Point scheme or change the percentage value at any time.
PART 6 – SPECIAL OFFERS AND PROMOTIONAL CODES
From time to time we will run special offers and promotions where you will receive a promotional code which can be inputted at the checkout to receive money off. When using promotional discounts only one discount code can be used per purchase and codes cannot be combined.
All discount codes and vouchers will have a limited lifespan and the expiry date which will be clearly displayed on/with the voucher. Once the code has expired the discount cannot be backdated and the voucher will no longer work.
We reserve the right to refuse any promotional discount codes which we feel are being misused or may have been released in error.
PART 7 - YOUR ACCOUNT
When you place an order with us you will need to input your details to allow us to process your order. When you input your details and account is created for your which allows you to log in to check your orders and allows you to shop more quickly in future.
You will be asked to provide a password to create your account; it is your responsibility not to share this with anybody.
When opening an account you will be given the opportunity to subscribe to the mailing list to receive discount and offers. You can unsubscribe from his list at any time by either logging on to your account and changing your subscription status, sending us an email or following the link on the bottoms of our emails which give you the opportunity to unsubscribe.
